Birthday Bash at Birdland--After All--August 24

Sally just returned from a summer in sunny Ventura, CA, performing in Cy Coleman's The Best is Yet to Come at the Rubicon Theater.

Recent highlights

After winning a New York Music Festival Award for her performance in Play It Cool last fall, Sally hit the road performing around the midwest. She ended her year with holiday performances in A Very Merry Pops (Oklahoma Philharmonic). This past spring, Sally was back in Oklahoma portraying Truvy in Steel Magnolias at the Lyric Theater. Most recently, she completed a run at the Rubicon.

Sally performed her famous Miss Bird song from Closer Than Ever at Primary Stages 23rd Annual Gala which honored Daryl Roth and Jack O'Brien. View pictures of the event here and here.

ISally joined a group of Broadway stars at this year's National Alliance for Musical Theatre's 2007 Festival of New Musicals in early October. Held every fall, this event showcases musicals for future production consideration. NAMT can claim  Thoroughly Modern Millie, Children of Eden, HONK!, and The Drowsy Chaperone as some of its alums. September 2007 - Sally kicked off this fall directing Jodi Stevens' show at the Metropolitan Room.

August 2007 - Sally at the Bradstan with musical director Johnny Rodgers.

August 2007 - Sally performs her concert of her favorites with musical director Johnny Rodgers.

July 2007 - Sally slips away from Yale Conference to perform with  Billy Stritch at Birdland in Manhattan. Check out pictures of Sally's summer performance with Billy Stritch and the Girls at Birdland here.

Summer 2007 - Sally teaches at Cabaret Conference at Yale University. Pictures from Yale's Cabaret Conference are coming soon.

July 2007 - Sally performs the music of Ron Abel at Birdland.

April 2007 -  Sally takes off to the Sheldon Center in St. Louis to perform  " The Story Hour."

March 2007 - Sally and Jerry Hermann!!!- Sally goes to Cabo San Lucas with the Mabel Mercer Foundation cruise to perform for Jerry Hermann's 75th birthday gala. With Klea Blackhurst, Brent Barrett, and Jason Graee.

February 2007 - All about fundraisers - private and in Texas.
